For a fee of $50 monthly plus a 2.5% acquisition fee (payable only when business is purchased), Flippa Finder will assist prospective site buyers with various aspects of the new business search and setup, e.g. deal negotiation, business verification, data room setup, and account management.

Sounds like a cool feature, though it is surprising that they are making so many changes all of sudden.

Yeah. I'm speculating that their business model is suffering, so they're broadening the revenue streams.

I doubt that it's suffering, it's probably more about increasing the EPV. What they may have a problem with, is really finding their place in the market. Flippa has always been so awkward.

They propose a solution for people getting "scammed" on their platform I guess lol. So they can say "Oh you bought a website on your own and you had a problem ? Sorry, we can't do nothing because we have a service preventing this and ... you didn't pay for it ! Have a nice day. "

Not really. They just do a lot of the work, that you usually would have to do.

New CEO, a sudden drop in earnings for both parts involved, many complaints about scammers are just a few.

Well of course it isn't the only reason and the service is useful, but they are kind of protecting themselves from members who scam people so easily on their platform

They have an escrow system, and if you follow the guidelines they provide you won't get scammed. Is it really a scam, if your buyer is buying something they don't understand?
