Fixing parts of the forum

I have as far as i can see fixed the guest issue.

You now should see old avatars, post counts and the rest. Im slowly repairing more of the database. So be patient im working the best i can and nobody else is around with server access.

Let me see how far i can go. Trying to fix everything but im guessing not 100% possible.
We shall see.

Updating thanks now, it wont reflect anything up to date, i think something was lost, not my doing, not sure what database we are working on here, i have not been told anything just seen it this morning and was all screwed up, i will repair everything that im given, if it does not reflect anything recent dont worry, when Dave is on ill see whats going on.

But until then, everything is being repaired for the database im working on now.

Ok thats the best i can do without new root access.

Everythings fixed as far as this database is concerned, thanks are accurate and avatars should be the new avatars, sigs have been lost. Itrader needs reinstalled.

Usertitles should be accurate atleast with this database. When Dave is back we will have to run a mass update on those who have been lost in the payments.

Everything else looks fine apart form missing posts, nothing more i can do with this until i have root access to the new server.

Sorry for the trouble it will cause anyone, i woke to find myself being a guest so ive fixed all those issues as much as i can.

For all people who have lost sig in their old post here is a way to get all those sig back

Go to "User CP" click "Edit Signature" and reupload your sig. Check your old post now...your sig will be back

So the situation is not serious right? I saw on BHUnivesity that DD said his outsourcer was working to fix the forum or something like that. Several hours ago I was a guest too, but apart from lost posts and demotions I think everything is normal. I think people lost a % of posts, someone with 10 posts loses 3 or 4, while someone like Havok lost 500. I'm confident this will be sorted out, but what caused this? A database corruption or is it somehow related to DDoS and other attacks that BHW has suffered?

Yeah I think everyone has lost a good number of posts but good work getting the forum back up and running.

I lost around 300 posts too.

Yea by donor jr vip status along with 35 or 40 post are gone to...but at least we're back.

I think more worryingly is the fact that I've set up a new account to get back in and I've got other peoples PM's in this new account!
