Do you delete and resubmit it? Do you create a new copy of the gig?
Use proxies to get more views of it. You could use some programs on here to get 1000's of views to it in a few hours. When I used it I noticed it was on the front only after it became popular. They do this to give the ones that are popular, more coverage, so essentially more buys for you, more money for them.
I'm not experienced with fivver but when my offer got around 150 views, no sales yet. It was put on the front page. I think that's how they choose the stuff to feature and place on the front page.
If a lot of people are viewing the offer then it must be interesting, right? So they put it on the front page, getting it even more popularity and hopefully it will get some sales and fivver gets the commission. It's a really good system when you think about it.
I have sent 10000+ views to a gig and my rankings did not change AT ALL. Views alone do not help.
go for it, why not? if you haven't got any sales and good reviews on a gig, you can resubmit it, it's not against their TOS
and also tweak it a bit, better title, better keywords, better picture, better description and if everything fails and you can't manage to get any sales, drop that gig and create something else
Advertise your gig through banner ads (on some high traffic blog). get more customers, get more feedback, get more rating, and you will get more orders from your Featured Gig!
How does your gig become featured? Do you pay?
i THINK they automatically choose it for being featured
A tip here is to go to somewhere like gigswood and CHOOSE to have your gig featured for a 10% charge
Featured gigs are pick by Fiverr admin manually. If the admin like it, he will put as featured. Anyway, I saw a guy offers around 5+ gigs with almost same title. So if your gig not working, you just keep it, maybe it will get you some sales in future. Currently an account can create 20 gigs, more than enough for most people.
By the way, I created a gig 1 week ago and I was new to Fiverr. I got a little bit luck with it. Everyday around 10 people viewed and average 1 order per day. I saw a guy has a similar title with mine but he didn't get any sale. I think it's because his title and description is not attractive enough.
