Ok Fiverr is changing things up because of exploits shared on here - I'll keep this short and sweet.

Introduction...uh...I hate all you noobs bla bla...I like being a dick...blah blah.
I was going to troll on this thread: http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/356615-huge-recent-drop-orders-fiverr.html
But decided to post a....(method?)....way to stress out less over Fiverr.

Gigs on Fiverr have become a commodity and if you've ever stayed awake during middle school economics, then you know that when something becomes a commodity, the suppliers compete with price. It applies to Fiverr except to the amount of "stuff" that you supply. Like backlinks, blogs, etc.

Disclaimer/background: I tried to setup an outsourced system only around gigs, but found this method was better for me (more money). Twist it up to fit your abilities. Also, this works great if you already have a website providing outsourced services, because let?s face it, we're all lazy.

First of all the fee for each completed gig is $1 (20% - ridiculous). So our goal is to get around this fee AND charge more.

    1. Setup 5 gigs, at most 10 if you're not getting around 5 orders a day. At first the money is going to be slow and you may even lose the Fiverr money. Be prepared to lose up to $50+.

    2. When working with a client, be polite, use proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc. It looks a lot more professional and communication will be more effective. This is overlooked, but every bit counts.

    3. Provide excellent service and deliver an excellent product. Whatever time you spent on gigs before, take double the time to do it. This is what makes you different from everyone else. Just because you're getting paid $4 to do something doesn't mean you should deliver $4 work. And as we all know, the lower the price the more people expect you to wait on them hand and foot for some reason.
Note: for those whiny a-holes who expect you to feed them grapes from a silver platter, drop them. If they threaten to leave a bad review, tell them to F off. We'll get more into this in a bit.

    4. When creating your gig, be very descriptive. Include a clause saying that you?re offering extra service for the first x number of people who order. Or something like, limited time offer ? extra services. Don?t set a time limit though, because we?re not actually going to take it off.
Ex: With every order, you get 1 free banner. This is a limited time offer. Order now!
Pay attention to commercials while you?re watching TV or listening to the radio. Or do like me and keep them on while doing IM. They provide primary examples of how to sell a product.

When adding the tags, type in the keyword that you?re going after and get a list of all of the tags that appear on the first and second page. Remove the duplicates; find out how much you can fit in there. If there aren?t enough good keywords type them into G search and look at the suggestions. As a last resort go to a thesaurus and find something related to your KW. However this can sometimes skew your target audience, so use it only when you have a mental block.

The picture should be simple and reflect your service. You should also add clear text to the image ? one word with your keyword will most likely be good. The ideal dimensions are 385x266. The color that you should use for the background of the picture should be red. Everyone uses blue because that?s what people associate with friendliness. However, if you do it, you won?t stand out. I haven?t done extensive testing on this, but my results were good with it, so if anyone else has experience with it, chime in.
I don?t like doing video, because they are very time consuming/costly, and if you have to make more accounts, then you will be more likely to be found again. Pictures are also good, because they are easy to modify when you?re switching to a new account.

The title should be very descriptive and to the point. I always try to make one of my words all caps. It takes trial and error, but it?s very effective.

The delivery date should be set to 1 day. You will go over, but what you do is keep asking questions. Send messages to your client so they feel like it?s more personalized. 99% of them won?t cancel because they have already put their trust and money into you.

    5. Now when you first get an order from someone, you have to establish trust with them. To start off, you have to have at least a 90% positive rating. Anything below that will result in very few orders, and even less of what we?re trying to do. Leave this account open, but make another one with similar gigs. When you make a new account, create unique descriptions, free offers, etc. Switch up the tags as well. Keep a check on damaged account, but don?t stress over it ? focus on the new one.

    6. This is the fun part. When delivering your product, don?t upload it to Fiverr. Upload it to a file sharing site and put a password on the file. I like mediafire. Don?t use some BS like sharecash or something with a content blocker. It?s not worth losing a client over. In the file add your contact information, and tell them to contact you through that, email is great to start out with. Ask them if they have downloaded the file, then delete it from the source. If they say they?ll DL later, then tell them to tell you when they can download it. We don?t want admins seeing what?s inside the file.

If you have provided excellent service like specified above, then you will get more orders from that person. Most people know that for $5 they will get a limited amount of service, but if you blow them out of the water, then they will be glad to pay you more. If they refuse to talk to you through email or say that they don?t trust you yet, tell them that this is as much as you can do for $4. Even though they are paying $5, you only get $4 for your efforts. If they decline again, politely decline to process any more orders for them. 99% of the time, they will not place another order.

Now, there will come a time when you get a troll. Trolls are easy to spot: some attributes include sending you multiple messages without giving you a chance to answer; changing their requirements halfway through; asking to do other tasks for them. Again, be polite and restate the service provided, and what info they have provided. Trolls can be converted into valuable client$, but have a pack of smokes or a stress ball nearby (avoid alcohol). In this case, just finish up the order as fast as possible, and do the same thing written above where you send them your contact info. If you can get them to pay more, then go for it. If they end up being a bitch, then just cancel the order. Your rating will go down, but it?s not worth your time. If your rating falls below 90%, then make another account.

When processing more orders with clients through email, ask them a few personal questions like where they are from. Don?t get too personal, but be friendly.

    7. This is an extra option, which you can skip if you want. Like I mentioned above, it?s great if you have a site offering services. You can then refer them to that site, and give them a bit of a discount for the first or second order, and a discount to people they refer.

If you don?t have one, set up a site really quick with some good looking theme which you can get from here. Optimize it for SEO with 2-5 pages. If you this for the long term, you?ll get natural backlinks if you don?t have time to do external SEO, or hire someone to do it. Set up the prices to be above what you?re charging the client. And tell them that their friends will also get the same price if they mention your client.

Now I guarantee you that there will come a time where you will quit Fiverr. Processing orders will allow you to expand your skills whether you like it or not. Some orders will have slight variations in them, so some research will be required. If you?re following through and taking action like you?re supposed to, then you will be able to apply yourself more and make more money in other ventures.

When you come to this realization, wrap up your gigs. Cash out any money that you have in whatever accounts you have open, and suspend all of your gigs.

If you have questions or need me to expand on something, you can post it below and I'll answer them as soon as possible, but I have an exam in the morning(9/27) so I'd better get some sleep :D
    Cheers

You are trying to fix common mistakes that blackhaters have when it comes to selling services or products, and it can be applied not only on Fiverr, but on BHS BST to. I'm constantly seeing sellers not valuing their customer and not using them in the proper way.

    Anyway, a good read, tnx

There are people making $2k+ on fiverr per month.

But I don't know an that make $1K+ a week, it is definitely achievable but it will take a lot of effort. Why not use the effort to set up some websites were the cash is semi automated?

But then again seo is pain to do deal with if you don't what you are doing.

It just seems like so much effort making $4 a pop, unless you are getting 10 an hour or 100 a day.

If you read the OP, UPSELL!!!!! That way maybe 1 in 20 orders which are, yes around $4 only, may turn into $250/week if you can UPSELL them.

Far out. If I had $1 for every person that bitches about Fiverr being not worth the $4 then I would be richer than I am with Fiverr. Which is the whole point of this thread.

    Stop thinking short term.

I don't think you are understanding what Fiverr is. Fiverr is for outsourcing to cheap labor. Who do you outsource cheap labor to? People who can live off of a cheaper means then yourself. The people making REAL money, 1k to 2k per month (which is tops at Fiverr) work 5-8 hours per day completing the gigs as a full time job. To get that many orders, you cant just rely on referrals from Fiverr, you need to promote outside of Fiverr yourself.

But if you can live well off of $500 to $800 per month, you could reasonably build up 2-3 accounts with very high feedback and live strictly off of Fiverr orders and only need to work 2-3 hours every day. Hint: Paypal lets you add multiple emails to 1 account to withdraw to.

As with anything, I believe that it boils down to what kind of service your offering.

Fiverr is saturated and the best way, if not the only way to make any real money from there is by creating a unique gig that few others are offering services for.

We'll be looking forward to it. Let us know what else you discover that I have not mentioned.

There was a thread a while ago where someone uploaded like 50,000 products to Amazon. A lot of the prices were just average, not too high and not too low. He/she still got a lot of sales. Cheapness implies low quality products. If it's more expensive, then people have tens of others to choose from.

If you come up with something unique, it's only a matter of time before people copy you. Don't try to reinvent the wheel.

If you tell me that someone won't order one of your 10 gigs in one day then I'd think that you're lying. If anything, you have 0 orders, so you need some rep. Then just do an exchange with someone. It's only going to cost you $1.

You could also say that ranking for keywords is saturated because of all of the sites showing up in the results, but that's not stopping anyone.

    Read the whole thread...

You should be expecting to lose that first $4 from each gig, but making tens and even hundreds of dollars per person.

You can do so many things with fiverr. Just because your getting only $4 upfront does not mean you can't make $100 in the long run for every new client you sale to. I hace seen complete sales funnels setup all using fiverr and other gig sites.

This is where I ask if you have any returning clients scheduled for next week but we know the answer to that. :saeek:

Read some sales books from your local library and watch a few commercials. The sales pitch is more important than the product. Once you have orders that fill up your day, then you focus on the quality. That's the fast way at least, so I'm not saying that providing quality first won't work. Of course, we can't forget that a great presell and an amazing product wins every time.

Actually thats only if you have set them up badly and are in-efficent in processing them!

I have my team process all my fiverr orders and i just step in for any problems and tricky questions.

My team cost's me about $10 a day to process the orders ($20 on a monday due to the weekend orders) and it takes 2/3 of them a few hours each day and that's it!

We get between 50 and 150 in orders a day... monday counts can be as high as 200! But overall it's been 2k average a month and ive only been doing gigs for a month.

Loads of regular customers is the key, offer a good service for a fair price!

    Lewi

Edit: Why do i do this? well it obviously isn't my main income by any means but it's easily scaleable and always gives my team something rewarding to do! Most of my own or the few clients i do have projects which i do are only rewarding for myself... these tasks they get motivated and see the benefits! Plus if they do well at them then i use this fiverr cash as their bonus and it pays for their time anyway, they work on these a few hours a day and the rest of the time is spent working for me where the big $$$ are... i can expand my team faster and always cover their cost with fiverr alone!
