I was looking into fiverr to buy some gigs where people either tweet your site of post it on their FB to their tens of thousands of fans/followers. Can a person expect to see any decent traffic from this?

I tried it once, got my link tweeted, but I got no benefit from it, it didn't make any difference to my traffic, but who knows, that was one seller I tried, maybe with another there would have been a different result, I don't know.

    Hi There.

I've tried this in Fiverr both for Twitter & Facebook and checked my traffic. To answer your question, NO you will not get decent traffic however you will probably get some traffic. I got some traffic to the URL that I wanted to promote but it surely wasn't "decent" enough to make a difference. I also tried gigs where they send "Hundreds-Thousands of Real Traffic to your site" Got a lot of traffic from it but they were all bots so not really useful anyways. *bow

By itself it would not do much, it isn't that simple... However if you implement a fiverr's twitter/fb gig within an thorough SMM campaign then probably you'll see positive results from the Fiverr service you've bought.

It's similar to regular SEO and link building. You would not be able to rank a website only with blog comments, you'll need to diversify your building tactics (web 2.0, wikis, article directories, contextual links, etc) in order to achieve the result you're looking for.

I've tried fiverr several times for FB related work. Each and every time, I've been disappointed with the work. I always swear I'll never go back, but this time I really mean it !

no I wonder why people buy that stuff. if you like good conversion just build your own followers with your own niche. buying gigs like that is like promoting Viagra to teens.

    No...because 80% - 90% of the sellers have accounts with FAKE friends/followers!
