I got an order on fiverr and I delivered everything in under 10 minutes. The customer says that the files don't work but I'm 100% they do! I even helped him and gave detailed instructions. He asked me to cancel the order or he'd leave a negative review. I don't want to cancel it because the files do work and he just wants to get them for free. How could I prevent this from happening?
Thanks!

It happens to me 3-4 times a month; people order, they wait for the report, and then ask for their money back or they will leave a negative feedback.

If your gig is new and doesn't have any feedback, then it's probably better to cancel the order. Not an easy thing to do [I hate scammers with a passion], but it's probably better for your account and gigs

Yeah it's a new gig and this is the first order. The customer doesn't even speak english and he uses google translate so half of the time I don't even understand him. I'll try to contact customer support maybe they can help :S

I've heard you can contact support and ask them to remove negative feedback by saying he is a scammer. So just say it's delivered end of story

You can ask support to remove the feedback if it's false(they'll not help if the buyer is complaining about the quality ).

I would just contact support and show them the transcript along with the files to prove it..

There was a guy who posted the other day that he had a negative review removed from his account on fiverr by contacting them. BUT the down side is they still gave the buyer/customer his money back. So you'll probably end up still losing the sale but at least no negative review.

If someone leaves a negative review, you can leave a 'response' review of them and let everybody know what happened. I see people doing this all the time when I'm looking at reviews before buying something on Fiverr.

You can leave a response review but you should first contact the staff and try to delete it altogether since rep is everything on fiverr.

Until you develop good reputation unfortunately this will happen very often. You'll lose a percentage of your work to scammers. Don't do anything about them, return their money and move on. Keep their usernames in a shit list for the future, just in case ;)

Mmm.. I think bhw users that use fiver could make a post with that shit-list users and check it before accepting the order. (Or maybe better, make it private trough a blog, group or something...) Just a suggestion

Good idea, but there would have to be a vetting process and proof provided for each scammer, otherwise it'll become possible to demote competitors.
