I had a gig that showed up for several days, made a few sales ok. Now, when I use the same search phrase, nothing shows up in search anymore.

My gig is still 'live', but here's my main question: Is it risky to create more gigs on this account? Will the other ones end up in some Fiverr dungeon, never to see daylight again?

    Ye thoughts...

Why would it be risky? If your gig is live then everything is fine. Just because it doesn't show up in searches doesn't mean it was deactivated or deleted. If it was deleted by Fiverr, it would be obvious.

You mean create the same gig a few more times?

If you want to experiment with gig titles and descriptions, create more of the same gig but put noticeable differences to it. Don't have 2 gigs that sell Twitter followers for example. Have one sell Twitter followers and the other sell say Twitter retweets but in the description say "if you want followers, tell me in the order". Something like that to experiment.

You will find that if you create, edit, suspend gigs frequently and keep tweaking, one will hit it big eventually and get some crazy traffic. It's the luck of the draw for competitive gig niches.

    Thanks for the replies.

The listing has emerged out of the depths! I edited it to show in another category, and changed it to 24-hours. I think also, by driving targeted traffic from outside 5'er helped with conversions.

    Okay, an update.

When I get at least, say, 5 orders at a time, none of my gigs show up in the results, (I track my kws and position in the listings daily).

I suspect Fiverr does this with level 1 sellers. The reason? Probably so that you don't become overwhelmed with orders, and thus fail (ruins Fiverr's user experience). This may change at level 2.

    Will keep this updated.

It's easy to rank on fiverr.Just use your keyword in the title, tags and in the description at least 3 times.I have a gig #1 on several keywords using this simple method
