(first post) Making money with Box.net

Ok, the little blurb up top keeps telling me to make a post, so here it goes.

I'm sure this is simply a twist to some methods already used, but hopefully you can find some value in this post

I've seen mediafire and rapidshare used a lot, but I've not seen anyone use box*.*net on this site. Box is a similiar program that allows up to 1 gb storage (on the free side) and much more on the paid alternatives. No worries, I'm going somewhere with this lol.

They ALSO are a cj partner and offer a $15 per free trial signup. Here's the plan then.

Upload into your box a few quality pdf's on a variety of subjects (not IM, BH, SEO stuff - cat care, gardening, acne cures, etc ... 20 different pdf''s or so will give you 20 different niches to target, 100 will give you .... ). Inside your BOX put a READ ME BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD html file which contains your aff link to get a free BOX and a nice little sales pitch about how wonderful box is and how everyday people can share stuff with friends, family, fellow forum/blog members.

Cruise over your favorite forum and blog spammers (I mean tools), and let everyone know that there is a great FREE pdf that will solve all their worldly woes and put in your box link.

They come for the free book, hopefully take the free trial so they can share it, and make you a little money.

Sidenote: to get valid good emails from your new 'friends': Put into your little sales pitch that you upload items on a regular basis, and that if they send you their email address, you will be happy to add them as a collaborator so they can download at will from their own BOX.

Part 2: Variation on the theme.

PLR is popular now, and membership sites are cropping up at a rate of about a million a day. Alternative approach to this:

Fill your BOX with plr items. Let everyone know they can get free PLR at your box address. In the READ ME FIRST file, rewrite to let them know that if they sign up for their own box at 2 GIG or better (they need this size just to hold all of the UNIQUE content you will be giving them !!!!, they can be a collaborator and get added for free to your SPECIAL plr box where they will receive FREE PLR content that is restricted to only 50 people and is updated weekly. This SPECIAL content is professionally written niche articles and scripts that you personal write and gaurantee originality. They are never to sell or give away these Special items. You get the pic --- will encourage more signup as is cheaper then most PLR memberships.

You now have $15, and an email address to a PLR buyer ....

Yes, you certainly have the option of NOT MAKING the plr box ..... lol

Update: Something that I overlooked, the READ ME FIRST.html page can be called CLICK HERE FIRST.html or whatever will motivate someone to read it - be inventive! (CLICK HERE OR DIE.html might not be the best name tho... but GARDENERS CLICK HERE FIRST.html in my BOX example might do good)

I named the folder 'shared', you can name it what you want to, and you can have each folder contain a different set of materials or even a single item, thus you could realistically promote 20 (or 100 or 1,000) different 'items' all in one folder or each to a seperate folder, just remember to add the READ ME FIRST or CLICK ME FIRST or *TOPIC* USERS CLICK HERE file into each folder you use!

How much weekly income do you make and how many individual niches are you promoting at a time?

Box is new to me as well, so just put this plan together for myself, figured I would share with you guys as well for inspiring me as competition is virtually nil !!

I'll keep you posted as to how it works, and using something similiar to do some other stuff as well, so will also post on those after some results are in.

So glad I was able to come up with something appreciated !!

How many niches? Fair question, I went thru my plr stuff and found an easy 140 products in about 80 niches to start with (no editing, repackaging needed, just simple pdf's I have some rights to for end consumer that isn't related to IM, BH, article marketing, etc .. -- all about health, yoga, dogs, cats, specialized recipes, and such. ) SO ... setting up individual folders now and revamping the CLICK HERE FIRST page to be target specific to increase conversion
