Hi guys, I'm alex and I'm 19 from the UK. Today I start my journey to setting up a variety of niche content mini sites. I am cool with doing all the content etc, but I need a few pointers, mainly in the Keyword research and wordpress aspects.

First of, as far as I'm aware, with the keyword research, the keyword should have a minimum of 1000 searches a month, with a CPC of at leaset $1? As well as an EMD available? Is this all there is tho it? Do I jut use the google tool to find this or do I need to do some more in depth research.

Also, for the actual look of the site is it best to just install a wordpress theme onto my web host, and it's as simple as that?

I'm willing to put a lot of hard work in so any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks a lot,

    Alexander Smith

For the keyword research, as you said, minimum search, cpc, emd is good to start. Also, you have to check the SEO competition of 1st of Google, if it is tough to rank, nothing would help you to rank on 1st page.

You can check the same with market samurai and if everything looks good, you can start promoting it.

    Best Wishes!!

I know this gets said a lot, but man... SEARCH!

These will both give you great places to start. If you're just getting your feet wet learning keyword research, learn to use the Google tool well.

Of course you want your site to look as good as you can make it. Thankfully, a lot of wordpress themes look pretty slick out of the box. Best? Can't say for sure. Easiest? Doesn't get much simpler.
