Firefox Plugin Toggles IconFonts

    you may have noticed that some web pages, as well as your wordpress dashboard (3.8.1 or higher), are now showing weird symbols instead of icons.

    this is because many developers have begun using "icon fonts" to display images because they load faster than jpg or gif files. if you have set firefox to only show selected fonts (verdana, arial, etc.) then you get the glyphs instead of the correct image.

    the plugin below lets you specify which pages can display their own fonts. you can white list domains or just click the icon to switch on a page-by-page basis:
