Anyone running firefox 3.6.8(2) will notice if they look in their task manager
There is a new process running "plugin-container.exe". what's that all about?
have you seen how much memory it eats?
I'm running firefox 3.6.8(2) I've been an avid firefox fan since they took on IE
but WTF happened? It's become an overbloated memory eater that crashes without reason.
I can't do without firefox, Having,
No script,
foxyproxy,
seoquake,
greasmonkey,
seo tools,
alexa sparky,
firebug
google analytics watcher,
quicksearch,
contribute toolbar,
hyper toolbar,
seo book toolbar,
web developer toolbar,
skip screen,
and downloadhelper installed I think that some of these plugins may be
incompatible with one another.
Everytime firefox crashes It gives this plugin-container.exe as the error.
So I looked it up, And guess what? Plugin-container.exe is supposed to stop
firefox crashing when a plugin crashes. Excuse me Duhhhhhh! it's the container that is causing the crashes.
It isolates flash inside the browser??????
I didn't ask for that, perhaps I should of read the EULA everyone does don't they.
Shit! Mozzilla, sort it out, I can't IM without you.

Never ever run the latest version of Firefox when it is still new, they always suck.

Yeah i downloaded the newest version like 2 weeks ago. Been crashing more than usual. (they happen in bundles i noticed. like itl crash and then 30 seconds later crash again, then wont happen for 3 days, then 3 crashes in a row)

Chrome is really good and also growing in the extensions department. Its been my mainstay for over a year now.
 
Yes I agree, I have been using chrome for over a year and I enjoy it more than firefox. I still have firefox downloaded for any Seo plugins that have not made their way over to chrome yet.
 
I sympathize - firefox is the only real seo option but it is still unstable.

The worst thing is that they got rid of the "properties" in the right click menu - so you can't instantly check for nofollow on a link!

There is a plugin to fix this but still... come on!
 
I would never even think of using chrome not with all the black hat stuff i do its like saying to google heres how i am trying to beat your system , look at me i spend lots of time in blackhat forums, and yes i am the owner of this website coz i just logged into the cpanel via your web browser. I do not know for sure if google monitors stuff i do on my pc but i will never install google chrome ,toolbar or talk on any machine i use for blackhat stuff.

Do you have any idea how often Chome communicates back to Google, even when its not turned on.

Not to mention if you are doing blackhat SEO you certainly don't want to be doing it with Chrome.

don't you people know safari's the fastest browser in the world, all the talk about chrome being the fastest is just google being behind it and promoting it, period.

he doesnt he is just a noob talking out of his mouth. Try monitoring your http requests or your connections and see if chrome makes a connection to any suspicious IP then come here and talk.



After all the only way to find out if your statement is true is by sniffing your own packets.

Why safari? Chrome is faster I was always told.
 
Yeah I've upgraded to FF 3.6 and suddenly youtube videos take a huge delay to run while CPU is 100% busy, etc etc.

So I guess now its THEIR time to drop the ball.

Really, some people should learn how to STOP and do NOT try to fix something that aint broke...

Me ? I wouldn't have made the statement if I wasnt sure. You couldn't pay me to put Chrome back on my pc.
 
I am still using Firefox 3.5.2 and thats working fine for me.. I usually ignore the update messages
