    hey there guys,
I am a noob at using proxies but have read quite some threads in here. I change the advanced settings in firefox and configure it to use proxies and I use the proxies that I check with charon. Charon says that those are 4,5 sock proxies but I can never get them to work. Only 1 proxy has worked for me so far, what am I doing wrong?

How do I use sock 4-5 proxies in firefox??? Where do I get a list, I am ready to pay but I just need 7 working proxies to make 7 different accounts

For what it sounds like you're trying to do, you should use a paid reliable source like one of the lads from the BST area. For accounts you don't want to change IP constantly, assign one IP or small range per account so it doesn't look shady as all get out.

Also: Yeah, your sources or testing setup sound like poop.

so you are saying that I need to buy proxies for each account and use 1 proxy for each account. How long do these proxies last?

I'm assuming these are accounts you're going to use more than once.

If it's something like youtube or a random throwaway forum account, then the hell with it, just fix your public proxy issues. But for cpa accounts, paypal, anything where you actually want to keep the account in good standing, it's definitely better to have one for each, yes.

They're not random proxies in that case, you'd be buying datacenter-type IPs from a reliable provider. They should last indefinitely. Look in the Proxy BST section.

Source of proxies depends on what you're using them for. For CL posting or such, you need to buy premium proxies. These are usually pretty fast and are reliable. For Gmail account generation/youtube views and such, I dont use public proxies personally. Theyre' avaiable on hundreds of websites and get hammered by thousadns of people, they die very quick. Purchase a monthly subscription to a proxy website for $20-30 a month and you will be good to go.

If you buy proxies try to buy an entire block of 224 proxies. This is if you are using to post on CL.

Reason: If one gets banned lik 65.xxx.xxx.123 then they usually will ban tons in 65.xxx.xxx.xxx range.... So you dont want some guy who has proxy 65.xxx.xxx.89 to effect yours if he does not know how to post properly.

    Hope that makes sense

I've recommended these guys a few times. I personally only need a handful of proxies (10 currently) so for $35/month I have 10 PRIVATE proxies that never fail me. but you could get other deals including shared proxies etc.

Hey localhero, so you would recommend packetflip.c0m?? How long have you been using those 10 proxies? Also are they sequential?
