So I got an anonymous message through my website that threatened me with a cease and desist and falsely said I was breaching utility patents. Bitter boy was obvious. But anyway while I have a suspicion as to who it is I don't want to go fury on them until I know for sure. For all I know it's someone I have never heard of before.

For context, I am promoting my Kickstarter hard core right now and noticed before another LA app with some similar traits. The app was totally different as it's about QR code social media sharing, but since I came across their Kickstarter chances are they came across mine. And apparently were pretty bitter about my better app. So anyway I'd like to know for sure so I can have what I'm dealing with right in front of me.

Is there anyway to find out IP/identity even with g-mail? The real issue here is they used my website submission form. And they didn't actually include their phone # or e-mail. I'd love to know if I can find out who this jack a** is and give him some lip.

Funny story I hit up the guy I think did it and he insisted it wasn't him. But there was something weird about his approach because if I was truly anonymous he would be confused instead of pointing out I'm being confrontational or whatever. Lol. It seemed he already knew me. He probably ran across a Facebook ad.

The only thing holding me back from thinking it was him is the email was really well written and he seems a bit like a moron.

There's really nothing? I hate that in the internet age :/

Just send the guy Silent Hill riddles until he stops messaging you.

    Clouds flowing over a hill.
    Sky on a sunny day.
    Tangerines that are bitter.
    Lucky four-leaf-clover.
    Violets in the garden.
    Dandelions along a path.
    Unavoidable sleeping time.
Liquid flowing from a slashed wrist.

    or

    First flew the greedy Pelican,
    eager for the reward.
    White wings flailing.
    Then came a silent Dove,
    flying beyond the Pelican,
    as far as he could.
    A Raven flies in,
    flying higher than the Dove.
    Just to show he can.
A Swan glides in to find a peaceful spot
    next to another bird.
    Finally, out comes a Crow,
coming quickly to a stop, yawning and then napping.
    Who will show the way?
    Who will be the key?
Who will lead to the silver reward?

    or

What man loves more than life
Fears more than death or mortal strife
What poor men have, the rich acquire
    And all contented men desire
What misers spend and the wastrels save
And each man carries to his grave?
