I remember in my old mailing days I would tell my proxy scanning software to search some Korean or US dynamic IP range for mailing proxies, then go to sleep. When I woke up I would have a couple to choose from.
I need proxies to surf anonymously, but I do not want the leeched proxies that most proxy software picks up. Those proxies are too overused and go down all the time.
The tool I would use is probably Charon. The IP ranges I would scan would probably be US dynamic ADSL ranges. Would you guys in the know say that this is a feasible method? Would I be able to find "unknown" http proxies this way?
