    I want to implement acode to find high-quality blogs and forums.

    What I am currently doing:

    BLOGS:
    Only considering RSS capable blogs.
    Getting all posts urls by RSS feed.
    Checking each url individually for OBL.
    If average #OBL is low (==small number of comments), blog is considered to be manually reviewed==> HQ

    FORUMS:
    (is always on site) Calculating number of threads/number of posts. If this ratio
    is low ==> HQ

    How could this done better? Any suggestions?

    Actually, maybe, the more generic a criterion is, the better. Still thinking about that, any suggestions?
