Currently working for a social media management company. Was wondering where the best places to find clients who were in need of somebody to manage their social media on a month by month basis would be. Thanks in advance :)

Try your local companies. Send them an email first, Meet them in person.

Be creative. There are a lot of local business waiting for you.

I agree. Look around locally and see what companies are near by and check out their social media. Put together a proposal or even offer a month of service for free to show them the value you can bring. Either way I would definitely have a plan to pitch them. Also, check their competitors and let them know what they are doing. If they are not interested do not spend a lot of time trying to convince them, move on.

find some companys that are doing bad at social media. invest time to make some accounts simmilar in that niche and build them. when they are bigger and have more engagement then theire own, you contact them.

Show that you can make more money for them and make an offer.
