I am in the market to buy a few new domains, probably let them sit and build up them in a few months. Since I am still new and managed to sandbox one domain I would like it to have some age to it so hopefully it wont hapeen again.

Is the godaddy auction the only place? Also how do you find the age?

Are there any downfalls to buying expireddomains? I see a 3 year old one that would actually work perfectly with the niche I am thinking of doing.
