Hi,

I found a keyword with 1,300 monthly searches ( Exact phrase searches). I am really lost now. What should i do next? I was planning on designing a very attractive amazon store. Should i use dot info domain name?

Please help me :) I love BHW :yeah:

Check if the com, org or net is available first before going the .info route.

Now don't get over exited yet with the search count.
Ask yourself the following questions before targeting this kw:

- is it a buying keyword
- how is the trend
- how strong is the competition
- are there enough products to promote from Amazon for this kw
- how are the reviews for these products on Amazon good/bad
- is there enough material online (articles/reviews/images) for your backlinking campaign

Hello :)
The dot com and dot org ARE available. However, i am short on my PayPal budget :S I bought the dot info.

Answers to your questions:
- It is a buying keywrod ( Buy a something)
- I don't really know what that means
- Low competition
- Yes, there are many
- There are images, articles, and reviews.

Is that good ?

ranking with .info will be difficult (not impossible)

check the trends, avg cpc of the keyword. that will also give you a general idea about your keyword.

I would have waited till you had the extra $5 in your PayPal and bought the .com

1,300 is a very low volume but if it's got a high commercial intent, meaning people searching for that are very interested in buying, and the product/service you can sell is fairly expensive with a good margin, you're good to go.

Throw up a Wordpress site with a decent free template, pump it full of relevant content, find some good way to monetize it (CPA offers, Amazon, eBay or even AdSense) and get some back links to it.

Adding unique content and link building are the most time consuming and least fun aspects but must be done. Well, you could try your hand at an auto blog and rip content from other sites. It works but for how long is the question.

If you go to the Google keywords tool
Code:
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
and type in your keyword you can check the trend under "Local Search Trends" for a first impression.
Is it even over all months or does it have spikes, like with seasonal products. If it's even that's good when you're starting with this.

Low competition doesn't say anything about its strength.
To be successful you need to be on page 1 of Google for your keyword. The first 10 results are your real competition as they occupy the places where you want to be.
What is their age, do they have authority, PR, how many backlinks, how strong are the backlinks, how optimized are their pages, etc.

One more thing...I hope the kw isn't branded.

Thank you so much. Actually, i installed a word-press premium template. I also install WP-Robot 3 so it can pull Amazon, and ebay products related to this keyword. Do you think that is a good idea?

I ordered a new internet credit card and it is arriving in 3 days, so i will buy the dot com.

Thanks! This is great. I think it is a seasonal keyword. Also, it is not branded. I hired someone to do directory submissions on BHW and also to do some back linking .
