Hello all, not sure if this is the correct section for this post, but here it goes. I finally finished up working on a server that has live streaming english and other international channels including Spanish, Arabic, etc. , including VOD (movies updated daily). The user would only be needing a Mag250 receiver to connect to the server and start watching right away. No freezing, HD quality. The English live streaming and VOD part of it is semi-illegal, so that is where I am getting kind of scared. Big cable networks charge atleast 80+/month where Ill be charging between 20 - 30/mo with the receiver costing 80 - 100 one time payment

    1) How would you go about it? I did a couple online searches and I see others have no issue selling, maybe they have DMCA-ignore domain and hosting for the website?

    2) Does BHW allow the selling of such a service and or if I were to sell the receiver w/ subscription plan packaged?

I know for a fact this can be huge money wise, because word of mouth for this type of stuff will be fire. look forward to the responses.

Mind I ask the likelihood of your service being available in Canada? If not, would you tell me the process for hosting my own live streaming server? I'd like to share it with as many friends and family as possible for next to cost just to give them a break from the mugging the cable companies pull on them every month. I've been looking into the xbmc and android devices but they're incredibly complicated to program and aren't formatted like the traditional Tv receiver. If there's any directions you can give me I'd greatly appreciate the advice.

    Thank you much.
