In times gone by I made some good money upload mass spam videos on Youtube, directing back to websites with content-lock scripts. Now I've been informed by an associate that Youtube has a new, simple option for monetising videos directly, without much scrutiny, and with a few clicks of a button. I'm told all that's needed is an adsense account and you can link with your Youtube account, playing ads before videos. The individual I know has made $40 in his first week, with sports videos and a not-so active channel. With this method I know we can make hundreds a week, standard. The question is, with the above in mind, just how watchful are Youtube and Google with this? So long as videos are not flagged by the copyright holder, can you get away with Youtube rape? I'm out of touch. What's the go. My concern would be that he's only a week in, so no payment yet, with no guarantee that come the $100 threshold that he'll be paid. It could be there's some sort of account review before each payout, or Google get suspicious when you start making strong dollars. Appreciate all responses. Thanks.
