This is a personal question on SEO for WordPress. I can't list my site here, so if any gurus want to help me by answering my question, please post here or pm me. We can do it through msn messanger. Thanks in advance.

It won't take long. Only few minutes.

I may be able to help. I don't really use any of the IMs unless for official purposes, though PM me.

    Cheers!!

Let's see. I don't know if any of these methods have been proven, but you can

    1. Use the platinum SEO plugin (free)
    2. Tag all of your posts. It takes longer but has helped my wordpress blog.
    3. Make a feed. There are plugins that will do this for you. You can monetize them by using a service called FeedBurner

all good advice. also change your permalinks to
    Code:
    /%category%/%postname%/

just make sure that your post 'slugs' are descritptive.

so for a post like this thread? you would end up with w3.domain-name.xxx/seo/optimizing-wordpress

    search engine food;)

Also make sure you use proper alt tags for your images. This is quiet often ignored but is a vital aspect for SEO.

very true about the alt tags...you should also name your pics something that makes sense. (keyword) not blg245.jpg or whatever.
