    Hey guys,

    Have a few questions.

    1. If we are blasting Tier 2, is GSA blasting all the links in Tier 2 when it's running, or do we have to blast each link seperately? It must me doing them all at once right? Because it would take forever to do them individually..

    2. What are the benefits of using a VPS if you have a fast PC at home? I'm guessing because of bandwith and the fact that it will make the home computer slow?

    3. When you are building Tier 2 links to Tier 1, let's say you have 5 Web 2.0's, 5 Articles, and 5 Wiki's. Are you building links to 15 of those properties individually, or all at once?

I know some of these questions are probably stupid, it's just I've been reading a ton of stuff and some things are confusing.

    1. Yes, it'll blast all the links in the tier 2 when it's running.

    2. I've a separate PC at my home for SEO purpose, but I can't run all of the tools at once on it because of memory and connection speed. So that's why I use VPS as well.

    3. It depends on your niche and your target that you're wanna achieve, if you're in low competition then much lower work you've to do. So, first analyze the competition then do start work on it.

JasonS did a good job answering your questions, but I'd like to add a few things.
    2. I used to run SER on my own desktop. It didn't really affect my daily use of my desktop computer at 800 threads, but I switched to a dedicated server, because I wanted SER to run 24/7.
    3. If I am ranking for multiple keywords, I'll have a page on my website for each keyword. Therefore I'd group together the tier 1 backlinks for the same keyword into the same project in SER.

    1. Yes, you can even set how many backlinks you want for each tier2 link.
    2. VPS has a minimum of 100mbps connection speed, which you don't have at home i'm guessing.

    Yeah it's stupid. jk.

Just wanna add something here about VPS.

If you run GSA on your home broadband, your ISP will know your are spamming entire internet even though you use proxy. You may be prosecuted depends on your country anti spam law. I saw a thread here some one said they got legal notice from court for using black hat tools. Search for it, if needed.

Awesome answers guys. When choosing a VPS do you have to be careful? Like are there a lot of low quality services? If so, any services you guys would reccommend?

Miedy, glad you told me about being able to tell GSA how many links to build. That was a question I had but forgot to ask. I also didn't want to post a million questions.

    Oh, 1 more thing.

Let's say you have scraped a list of links. Are you using that same list for other campaigns that you set up for different articles/pages?

Yeah sure, I keep using the same list over and over again while I'm always expanding it.

Regarding a VPS to avoid. I have seen quite a few people recommending bermanhosting, but I tried them for a month and they sucked very badly. I have posted my experience in threads were other people said they were happy with bermanhosting and other people also had a bad experience with them. Personally, I'd never recommend them to anyone and I'd always make sure to stay far away from them.

After searching, I saw a lot of people using them, but I also saw a lot of complaints. Thanks

As for proxies, how often are you guys having to buy them? Like if I buy 50, how much use can I get out of them? Do they get banned quickly or what?

I use 100 private proxies and I'm not considering changing them anytime soon. They get banned and unbanned all the time. Just find a suitable amount of threads and wait time between search queries that allows you to keep scraping.

Don't really understand what threads are yet but I'm assuming the higher the threads, the faster you build links? And the more threads you use the more power and bandwith you need, which is why people use a VPS. And also the faster you build links the more proxies you need because they get banned faster, so you need more of them rotating?

I use hostamus, been with them for a while, no problems at all 1 gig line (think most have that anyway). Yes captcha breaker is a must to keep costs down. GSA is a beast I don't fancy doing it's captchas manually. You ideally want to use captcha breaker with a paid captcha service as well. Also as others have pointed out you need private proxies.
The faster you can scrape for targets, the faster you build links. Ideally you want to use scrapbox or gscraper to do that while you are posting to the first list. It's an ongoing process.

What??? I'm not sure whether or not your operating system is eating up all your ram, but you should be able to run 100 threads with 10 proxies if you also plan on scraping with SER.
