About me I've been a member of this forum for a couple of years now, testing things out here and there very casually, due to working full time in a contract that was secure until 2016. 2016 is almost here, and you know what? I don't want to work for anyone except for myself (which is the main dream of IM right?). Not only that, but I'm expecting my first child in less than a month, so there's even more pressure financially than before. That and providing for my gf, who also wants to live the IM dream with me. She'll be able to work on whatever is needed, but will likely help out with just writing. Why $2000? Well, I earn slightly more than that now but when I go full-time in IM I'll have less outgoings as I won't be travelling for work, so it'll actually be a pay increase with the added factor of it being a nice rounded number for a goal. My plan My main aim is to create an authority website/blog in a specific niche which will have adsense on most of the pages, but will also promote Clickbank products. This is a niche both myself and my gf have some sort of knowledge on, but I'll still be outsourcing some of the initial articles to make sure the site starts off high quality. Side projects I'm already making a small amount of money through some of my IM 'tests'. One of which is a very specific niche gaming forum, for a game that isn't due to be released for several months. If all goes well, this site could actually boom and be very profitable, as it's already being recognised as the 'go-to' forum for the game. Adsense money on this is very low at the moment though, due to traffic. I have also created an adult-tube site myself, and using Twitter (and another method which unfortunately I think I've sapped dry) have promoted it to generate almost $800 since May. Most of that income was made within the first 4 weeks, which is annoying. If the site indexes on Google fully, this could potentially make a bit in the long run too. Updates I'll update this thread as often as I can, and hopefully inspire people along the way, as journey threads are the main thing I read when I lose motivation with IM. Thanks for reading.
