    Hello guys and gals :D,

I feel much love for you my friends and I just wanted to share a secret meditation I just discovered that gave me some seriously profound results! :) I know a lot of you guys here are kinda keen about this stuff so I'm just gonna leave this here for future references.
    __________________________
I was trying out a meditation I saw hinted in the autobiography of Milarepa, possibly one of the strongest psychics to ever walk this earth. Essentially, sit in a half lotus or full lotus position with your thumbs touching the index finger on both hands and rest them comfortably on your legs (Standard position). Now I lit a tea light candle and put it on top of my head and balanced it there. Guys when this candle is on you, you can't move one inch without risking pouring hot wax on your head so it trains you to sit up completely straight and not budge at all. I found it easier to do in front of a mirror. Then you just sit on your buttcheeks and meditate until the candle dies out (3-4 hours).

Maaaan!!! I was concentrating on my immortal fetus when I started getting some crazy sensations going up my spine. I couldn't concentrate on my lower dan tian for very long because it literally felt like the candle was pulling all of the energy from the base of my spine UP into my crown chakra. I started seeing purple flashes (basically letting me know that my central channel was drawing in a lot of prana/mana) and then I felt something kinda dripping from the base of my skull down - like a liquid dropping inside of my skull. And then I felt the energy in my crown chakra transform and flop over the front of my head into my third eye like a cobra coming down. It felt like this:
Except that it didn't go up or leave a space, the energy was like a wind snake being pulled up then flopping over my forehead covering my third eye. That's how it felt physically. Crazy!! I'm pretty good at clearing my thoughts but the entire time I was wondering if maybe the wax was being dripping on me or something (even though I didn't feel any pain), but nope, it was just energy. I remember Robert Bruce talking about this phenomenon and how you can see it depicted in various cultures like the Egyptians, etc... and how physical it feels. He mentioned that when your serpent rises, your psychic powers are amplified quite a bit but I didn't try anything. Pretty interesting - I think the candle keeping me as straight and still as possible was the real trick here. Try it out for yourselves (please don't hurt yourself babe) and see if anything comes up :D.
    Much love,
    Pewww

Haha, interestingly I feel like caffeine makes me perform worse due to the paranoia and kind of edgyness. Hey, to each his/her own :).

This is very, very, very true man and I appreciate it. I have had kundalini symptoms for a while but I've been trying to suppress them. I think severe imbalances/psychosis come from repression so I guess it's time for me to just dive in. I'm super scared about it because I've heard the horror stories and I'm really not in a position to jeopardize my living.

    Side note:
I was having major, major activity in my pingala nadi when this happened, I'm not sure if that's a good thing. It wasn't painful at all but it is super dangerous to raise kundalini through that auxiliary psychic nerve. Please, please be careful in all meditations and seek the guidance of a master. I'm just a bumbling, babbling fool ;).

Sam, I'm gonna research that bro. I'll be honest, I've never done much reading on kundalini because I thought it was mostly a kinda fluffy thing that happens or doesn't. I honestly don't know much about it apart from the symptoms and generally to avoid it. Maybe I'm wrong, anyway, thank you I'll check out the diagrams and hit the books.

Benefits of Kirtan Kriya - Sa Ta Na Ma Mantra Meditation:
Increases intuitive abilities and psychic powers.
Clears the system of negative emotions, traumas and impressions.
Heals, balances and uplifts the emotional body.
    Builds concentration and mental focus.
    Bestows peace and tranquility.
Gives one awareness of one's Divine Infinite Nature.
    Design of Kirtan Mantra Meditation:
As explained above, uses the fundamental Sa Ta Na Ma Mantra to help one realize their True Divine Nature. As indicated, this is considered one of the most important mantras for Kundalini Yoga Meditations.
Uses the power of visualization to activate the higher chakras and associated endocrine glands. Specifically this mantra meditation is going to activate the Crown Chakra and the Ajna Chakra (Third Eye), thus it will stimulate the pineal and pituitary glands specifically. These are the most important glands of the endocrine system and the highest chakras of the kundalini yoga chakra system.
Uses the science of Mudras or hand/body positions to create and complete certain circuits in the body. The following hand positions are used, which bestow the benefits as I have indicated below.
Index Finger + Thumb -> Wisdom
Middle Finger + Thumb -> Focus
Ring Finger + Thumb -> Energy
Little Finger + Thumb -> Connection

In addition, Shambhavi Mudra is used, where the eyes are turned up to look through the center of the forehead, which stimulates and activates the Ajna Chakra (Third Eye).

How to Do Kirtan Kriya - Sa Ta Na Ma Mantra Meditation:
Sit in any cross legged posture. You can also do this meditation sitting on a chair.
Elongate your spine and tuck your chin in slightly (like a soldier at attention). Rest your wrists gently on your knees, with your palms facing slightly upwards.
Close your eyes, but turn them upwards such that you looking through the center of the forehead. This is shambhavi mudra, and only hold it for as long as is comfortable. Release it whenever necessary and continue with the meditation, reapplying it once ready.
While chanting the mantra as described below, follow the following pattern.Press the index finger + thumb for SA
Press the middle finger + thumb for TA
Press the ring finger + thumb for NA
Press the little finger + thumb for MA
Begin to Chant the Mantra now. Slowly chanting the sounds Sa Ta Na Ma repeatedly. Do the following visualization as you chant. Visualize the sound S, T, N, M entering through the top of the head through the crown chakra, while visualizing the sound "A" leaving through the center of the forehead through the ajna chakra. Keep visualizing this flow of the mantra and keep making the finger movements as you chant the mantra in the following way.
    Chant aloud for 5 minutes.
Chant in a whisper for 5 minutes.
    Chant mentally for 10 minutes.
Chant in a whisper for 5 minutes.
    Chant aloud for 5 minutes.
To end, sit completely silently and still for 1 minute and allow infinite to descend upon you. The total time for the meditation is therefore 31 minutes.
Summary of Sa Ta Na Ma Mantra Meditation:

Although at first glance this mantra meditation might look complicated, it really is not. You are simply chanting the sounds SA TA NA MA, visualizing them flowing through your crown and ajna chakras, and applying the appropriate mudra for each sound. As far as Kundalini Yoga Meditation are concerned or for that matter any mantra meditation are concerned, Kirtan Kriya is one of the most profound and effective meditations you can do, so commit to it seriously and find out for yourself all the wonderful benefits of this timeless technique.

That's really good man for sure :). Just a tip - if you concentrate on your throat chakra while you're falling asleep, you'll be 10X more lucid during your dreams and may be able to induce an astral projection. Also, the easiest time to AP is just after you wake up before you move. You'll figure it out man though for sure, very happy to hear.
