So, I got some links from a guy on this forum who offers submission to his "private" blog network and I paid him $350 for the service which was submission to 50 sites. Stupid of me, but the guy seemed legit, is a reputable member and has a legit looking site etc... I went ahead with the payment after talking to him for awhile.

His site and he claimed the service to be high quality, owners of the sites will actually write the post etc..

Well, I get the report and taking a look at the sites, they are garbage. Complete utter garbage! Posts are less than 100 words length, in different lanuages, unreadable and looks like he used AMR to submit to sites. Oh and sites are 80% PR 0. Literally looks like he submitted to Auto approve aa sites. Dam, I feel so stupid.

So, what should I do? He obviously delivered the links but they are garbage and and I really can't believe he sent me the links. There is no way that anyone would find this acceptable. The thing is, I have wrote him and he hasn't written back but I am sure he is going to say "well quality is objective" or some bullshit.

Can I show the posts to a moderator and let him/her decide if this was a scam? I bet one look at a post with 50 words on a PR 0 completely spammed private blog in some different language for $7 per post will seem like a scam.

What can I do? I didn't want to open up a shit list thread just yet.

Lesson learned - I have gotten a lot of legit work from people from this forum. Don't let your guard down because shit like this happens.

    Thanks

The only mods can do is his ban.
    Try PayPal dispute.

You are allowed to complain in the providers BST thread. Legitimate complaints are valid feedback, especially if the quality received doesn't the match the quality advertised. If you've given them a reasonable enough time to respond, try complaining in their BST thread, and then if it can't be worked out present your case to a mod, or in the shitlist section.

JK on the Bieber thing, that does suck and is a lot of money. I agree to complain in the BST, if he did say "High Quality" and original posts and you got mostly unreadable and PR 0 sites I would think that's enough to dispute and get your money back. At the least I would call him out in the BST.

Definitely report it in his bst thread. It sounds to me like a shite service that doesn't warrant its price tag.

If I could be brutally honest, drop the avatar and 'Believe the Impossible' tag, as it makes you look like a little kid, who in turn might come across as someone who could be suckered in to paying $350 for a service and then fed any old nonsense to try and get rid of you.

Seriously? WTF does it matter what his avatar or user title is? BST providers should be providing services that live up to their promises. Regardless if the buyer has a good sense of humor, or a positive outlook on life.

    I agree fully with this.

You should leave a negative review of their service on their bst.

I purchase a lot of bst services, I pay close attention to the reviews and even closer to the negative reviews and how they handle them. I thoroughly read every single post to see if the service is good or of any potential problems.

A good bst provider will put his customers first and do what ever it takes to make them happy.

I personally feel it is our duty as customers to make problems known for future customers. I'm not saying if you feel scammed, you go around and call others scammers, but atleast share your review. If the problem continues, then take it up with a mod, so others don't get harmed too.

    My 2 cents.

Sorry. The guy does not actually have a BST thread. It was through his signature. I had thought he had a bst thread but I guess he sells just through sig.

But, this shouldn't matter much should it? I mean, if you use BHW for getting your clients, you should still uphold your service.

Thank you for the replies guys!

And for those talking about shit about Bieber, come on live a little. It's a joke. I use this forum for learning and not for selling my own stuff. So, it shouldn't matter what my avatar is. Look at mudbutts avatar lol.

If he doesn't have a BST you're stuck having to shitlist him.

Coming from the guy who has time to offer his worthless opinion. Move along now.....

I have nothing to prove to anyone therefore I could care less about your brutally honest opinion. I am probably 5 times more successful than you will ever be so keep talking

Jesus mate, don't take it to heart, I meant no offence. All it is that you post in a forum which to be fair, from looking at the shitlist thread which continues to grow, has a few fairly disreputable and ruthless individuals who would either scam you of your money and give you nothing in return, or as you may have witnessed, offer you shite for your hard earned dollar. These same ruthless and shameful people may look at someone who has a Justin Bieber avatar and a 'Believe The Impossible' tag as someone who may be a pushover. And whilst it all may be some tongue-in-cheek joke as you mentioned above, it could be construed as how I have mentioned. And that's all, I didn't mean to offend you buddy.

Not offended I see your point. I pride myself in being unique therefore I will do whatever in fact makes me feel unique. If putting avatars of Justin Beebs and having a tag line "Believe The Impossible" because I feel I have had a tough road on my path to success, doesn't quite match up to you and others, I am sorry that you feel that way. Life is too short and if this was the reason that I was ripped off, who's fault was this? Mine or the scammer piece of shit.

Your opinion is your opinion. But we live in a world where doing the norm is accepted and being different is unaccepted. I'd rather be different and take the hardships that come along with it
