Feedback on "geo ip" location coding?

hey roomies!

I was testing this script by using proxies and then reloading my site to see
where the script indicated
what city I was located in, it works but it was quirky...

my results were inconsistant at best, but then again I was using publicly
available ip's, so they may not be the best for testing purposes

is it possible you could place your results on this thread to see how
accurate it is for you? I gotta believe maxmind is top notch
in the industry, so maybe it's just the ip's I used?
