Well well well, I was doing a google search for my niche earlier and found out that one of my competitor who is ranking 4th in google had his/her comparison table as the featured snippet. Apparently google chose my competitor over my site, which is currently ranking 1st in google. (yes I envy my competitor heh). I'm guessing this will affect my bloody sales greatly. Hats off to my competitor anyway, a fair fight.

Anyway I've tried to mimic what my competitor does with the comparison table, hoping to get mine featured instead. Hopefully in a few days time :( Any advice from you blackhatters?

Can't you leave feedback on those? Just ask your whole network to just rate it poorly and they will switch it most likely. :)

Other than that, just copy his structure on the article. It sounds like you've given up, don't do that. It's currently "fair fight"-mode, turn that mode into "FUCK OFF I'M THE SUPERIOR"-mode and push him off the serps. :)

"FUCK OFF I'M THE SUPERIOR" >>THIS! hehe. Thanks hekke, I'll look into the feedback thingy. Yup I'm mimicking what he does and see what else I can do. And no giving up is not an option!

you mean 5 stars thing that shows in google? That has nothing to do with google picking him over you, I personally know how to do it and use it to increase my CTR ;)

I can't see the snippet on the example above for some reason, maybe it's only for some countries?

I think it depends on the niche. Certain niches have the featured snippets while others don't. Am not too sure about this myself. Kinda annoying when it happens to your niche (when you're not featured lol).

Well I tried searching for "are vampires real?" like your example above and didn't see the snipper either. Also tried on google.pt (my country) and google.com so I'm not sure why some people see them and others dont. I personally had never seen it before.

Try this: "best wireless headphones". You should see one I think.

Use a free proxy to search: https://hide.me/en/proxy and choose USA as location. You should able to see it.

Nope, not on the vampires keyword, and in the "best wireless headphones" all I see are 4 wireless headphones and when you click you go to amazon. Is that what you mean?

I am getting the cnet box from India. There is definitely some fishy stuff going on. Hoping someone will come in and tell about it.

    Hey Bruce,

I would recommend adding an 'overview' section at the top of your pages, that outlines the content / key take away's of the page. Doing this may be time consuming if you have a large site. But definitely do it on pages that are ranking well. Also if you have an semrush account you can see which keywords on your 'site' and 'competitors' are being featured in the 'snippet' / 'knowledge graph'.
