I'm looking for a plugin that can feature a specific auction from Ebay on a Wordpress blog. I am not looking to build an Ebay store or anything like that, so I dont think plugins like PhpBay are what I'm looking for.

What's the best plugin for featuring 1 simple auction that I want on the blog?

Are you a member of EPN?
Are you trying to link to it with your affiliate ID?

If yes to both, just create it in the Editor Kit on the EPN dashboard. Then put the code in a text widget.

BB, are you sure about those instructions, I've tried this with a sidebar widget, and new page, twice, in html and visual, and I even tried putting the code in as a comment.

I'm using the javascript right from the Editor kit. edited out my campid and then f'd the code just because

    <script language="JavaScript" src="http://lapi.egaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxsc&srchdesc=n&tbgcolor=FFFFFF&title=New+Auction&tlecolor=FFCE63&tlefs=0&tlfcolor=000000&toolid=10004&track=XXXXXXXXXX&width=570"></script>

    What am I missing?

I haven't tried since the new EPN, but I think it still works.

    I've used this recently:

I see the difference, I went to E pn and got the code to put in the text widget, I was going to use my widgetbox's for games.

    Its not to hard..

Setup the 1st time was a bitch.

I'm making a tutorial on how to do this.

I'm using all free software for it.

and yes you can use 1..2..3..4..50..100 auctions per page with this...

    :)

If php bay ain't for ya, you could consider:

    a) Using rssgr0und.c0m (change zeros to o) ..cost ya $19.99/month :p

    Or

    b) i) Login to your EPN account, go to tools >> widgets >> rss feed generator and search for the auction listings using keywords and some criteria (e.g. tickets).

ii) Once you get the results, scroll all the way down, and you can see an orange colored rss button. Right click on that and copy the link. Use an *rss integration script to generate code (e.g. javascript, php, or iframe) for embedding the feed on your WP blog page.
    * Example of rss-integration script:
    Code:
    http://www.rss-info.com/en_similar-services.html
    Hope this helps.

    Cheerio. :)
