Shame he wont be able to spend any of the loot. Wasn't each notes serial number taken down so they could track where it was being spent ?
I havent read about DB in a while so may be wrong on that one.

LOL..yeah, that sort of usually happens when you think you can survive jumping out of a plane at 30,000 ft. I was 15 years old when this knucklehead tried this. It was a HUGE story. What amazed me all these years was that people actually believed someone jumping out of a 727 at what....30,000 ft? Moving at 600 mph would survive more than about 10 seconds.

Just google halo jumping. High altitude, low opening...or....high altitude, low oxygen depending on who you talk to. These guys are jumping at 30,000 ft with success.

Dude...this was 1970. There was no extreme ANYTHING back then...good lord....this mofo was dead before the flight attendants hit the panic button....."halo jumping"....that's pretty funny.

Man, that's exciting! Everybody already knows that Jimmy James was D.B. Cooper though and didn't really need the money...it was just for the thrill.
