I see a lot of these auctions these days on flippa about sites selling FB fans or twitter followers or youtube fans.

I keep wondering how the buyers of these sites actually get them to work.

If I do a google search , I find there are some 50-60 sites providing similar services. The top 10 sites on google are almost similar in design , look and feel.

Now as a buyer of these services from these sites , how do I get the feeling of confidence from a customer who comes to my site from a search engine to send me $xx and order a service like X number of followers or fans.

In what way can the owner of such site make his site look authentic amongst a huge competition of 50 similar sites offering the very same service as his.

Even if Iam on page 1 on google for some service like say get fb fans and the visitor comes to my site from google, how much authentic do you think he will feel my site is.

Iam puzzled with so many questions going around my head now.

    Most owners advertise on forums.

they are scams.Take a look its always plimus as biller and all paymentsenders a hidden so people cant see that its from a single account. Most of the seller dont even have good knowledge about the market just say the standard bla bla they read on boards and are giving contacts to some cheap scamming people. They basicly dont accept escrow with the excuse its not on the supported country list at escrow.
They are not showing google analytics.Domains are 15-30 days old so its not possible to get instant sales.
They dont have any good google ranking nothing. The buyer just gets a design with 0 traffic which is a scam as he wont get any sales/traffic.

lasttime there was even somebody selling craigslist in the domain with changing just a single letter and said there are no copyright issues :D How stupid this people are and i'm sorry to say but once you talk to them you immedently recognize they are based in india

Well I sold one of these on flippa and it's not as hard as you think. There are a lot of people looking to buy facebook fans. The key is to make your site more authentic. To do that all you need to do is put up a phone number on your contact page and actually pick it up.

It's the one thing that helps you beat your competitors regardless if you list using ppc or seo. Out of 10 phone calls you can get 8 to convert easily since it's a microniche. You do need to have comprehensive knowledge about what you are doing.

Also testimonials and video reviews that seem real or are real help convert into sales. Then you can flip it easily once that happens!

why because telling the truth?Did you ever pm'ed a seller and talked with them instead of saying i am an asshole and giving neg rep.
I have no issues to say that on the IM market the most scams are made by indians and pakistanis which doesnt mean they are the biggest scam its a fact you wont change even telling me how much you love india and how many trustworthy people there live.

So instead of attacking personaly do your DD and you will see yourself they are based in india one of them is even a member here on this board who tried to scam bhw members

I have alot of experience in these sites.

They do earn money and the main methods are forum promoting and via social networks. But if you rank some keywords then you will easily get some organic traffic. Generally the type of customers who approach you are americans (Big wallets :D). So they dont just buy 1k facebook fans they buy 5k+. But yeah the sites are easy to earn with and the profits are very good.

I paid $50 for the site to get it made (www*sociomediabuzz*com) , i no longer own the site as i sold it. And i got it made by an indian

Cool thoughts, I guess some video testimonials and a phone number should work good on the sales and make the site look legitimate for business.

all the website for fb fans, twitter followers, youtube listed in flippa from august 2010 to till now are from a single person, his name is "Jarad Nelson".

He is a very smart person. He makes all website getting ranked in top position for a lot of keywords, and then he sell it [this is my doubt, he actually sell or not]

I am almost done building one, and though I have told no one about it, it will pass 50 visitors for Jan 31st, had 50 on the 30th. I tend to build my sites live, and I am hoping they just keep checking back in waiting for me to open the doors.

I had considered putting it on Flippa, was actually all the way to the last page, had everything done, phone verified, selected my options, $5 for border and the $20 to list, which means I would of been into it for $43, then just back out. I could make more money in just a week or so. The only reason to sell it is to say you built it and sold it, it is an accomplishment.

There is part of me also wanting to get out from under it because it has FB in the domain, only 6 letters and is a dot com, but my name is on the domain, I did not put it in private as I do with all my domains, and I am figuring if I do it now, it is too late, it is out there, some will update the contact.

Anyway, from my limited experience, I am getting traffic and I am not even open for business.

Are you sure about those stats, when you say he is one person? Cause I spoke to 4 buyers and they were 4 different people.

i do not think so, for example, if you go for facebook fans website listred in flippa, all website are also ranked good in google. All are from this person.
