FB Create Page or Create Group?

If I want to add a lot of targeted friends to see my blog or whatever, do I use the create page or create group method? The create page looks like its for real businesses.

Groups only benefit = can message all members when it has less than 5000 members.
Pages don't have this. But have apps, posts show on fan's homepages, more customizable, custom landing tab, etc.

I'd go for page. If you reach 10k fans, it will need to be verified. But this is as simple as adding a fanbox widgit to the blog.

I think it depends on what would you promote. People use group for things like school club. But you can use page to raising funds for charity, promote your business, etc
