Ads cannot require viewers to click on the ad to submit Personally Identifiable Information (such as name, date of birth, phone numbers, social security number, physical addresses, or email addresses) on the landing page or in the ad, except to enable an ecommerce transaction and where the ad and landing page clearly indicate that a product is being sold.

    k. so how come people are in fact running such ads then? i don't get it. guidelines say it's not allowed yet people are clearly running them (ringtone / mobile # offers etc).

Is a product or service not being sold with a cpa? If you are just collecting info for the hell of it, then you should stop trying in IM.

It's an CPA quiz offer. They submit their mobile # to receive the quiz answer = conversion.

    question still unanswered.
