    Hi,

I am using meta-refresh as redirect method but I find it slow. What is the fastest way to redirect users?

    Thanks

In my experience the php and java redirects are not any faster than the meta refresh. At least over many redirects. Any single one could be slower or faster for a multitude of reasons.

Just note that php header redirection WILL NOT hide your referer. Using JS based redirection, your referer will be the page that you use redirect.

Thank meannn. Is there any way to have some kind of fallback if the user has javascript deactivated? There actually are some people who do that..

Meta-refresh is better & also have the option to set the time delay.

Meta refresh starts after the page has loaded. Even the page has only includes redirection code, js redirect is faster than meta redirect. Also, htaccess is the fastest redirection method, but it acts like php header redirect. So, what's the solution ? Using meta redirection and js redirection both. If user has disabled js, meta redirect will redirect user. If not, js will redirect user first.
