i'm looking for a faster website!

I currently run a wordpress picture blog. I have a bluehost hosting account and even though all my images are hosted on an amazon account (so they are not on my server) and I have W3 Total Chache installed and my site is running slow as shit!

I have only 400 - 650 (1000-1500 page views a day) visits a day and google adsense is also telling me I am slow.

Any suggestions on a faster web host? Should I go vps? I don't think I need that as my traffic is little. Maybe a faster shared hosting as bluehost are slow? if so, who do you recommend? a webhost that's cheap would be nice too lol

ps, please don't suggest hostgator, had bad experience with them

    HELP

    thanks

Depending on how much you're earning per month with the AdSense from this site, I'd go with a VPS. Especially if your AdSense earnings are enough to cover the server.

Moved one to VPS from shared and didn't help.
I mainly think it's due to a piss poor template...
Have you looked at varnish cache?

Thanks for the heads up on the Varnish Cache spmcnerd.

Looking into Varnish but seems complicated to install! has anyone tried this? might search youtube for a tutorial.

    Interesting.
My 4 sites are hosted on Shared and they're quite loaded with content, yet take anywhere from 900ms to 3 seconds total. The only speed tool I'm using is WP Total Cache. From what I've heard almost all the hosting providers are the same with a different name though.

Install a super cache plug in to speed it up. Usually that helps it out pretty good.
