So in 2010, FarmVille "will" pass the $100 million mark.

    LOL!

    Fuckers.

I did some 'of my own research'.
It turned out that the game like that to make costs around $12,000

I think if he made it like farmvill.come or some shit, and not on facebook, it wouldn't go so viral. Facebook helped like crazy!

    But nonetheless...

Does that mean we are going to jump back on the bandwagon and see more games like cokemusic and habbohotel?

That is an uber waste of time Omg.Did anyone see the southpark episode where the chracters bully facebook and some virtual farming techniques over normal days haha..

And btw during the haiti quake they donated like a million dollars " That was actually a nice thing to do" . But just imagine how much they are making.

These people got investment backed lucky bastards---Where do they get a game made for that price? How do they make that money? --- Two questions to answer please - P.S They must be Blackhatters as it says on Wiki that they havebeen accused of making players fill in bogus survey offers.

First move advantage in the FB gaming industry. They were first out there to make it viral by forcing people to invite their friends.

Think of a game that could appeal to a great audience and get it made by few programmers. You will get your investment back too.

How does farmville appeal to audience?
People wish to farm but some may not like the dirt or some are just lazy ass. And for this reason their hearts are content with farming virtually.

Guys ( & gals), the company is Zynga, and they're all over the business press.

lol at those people playing it...its a total waste of time...virtual farming is crap...the only reason why it got so viral was because of facebook and now they're gonna hop on to the apple market...

People just LOVE to cultivate stuff, it's in our genes. Just depends on your culture. Harvest Moon was another ultra popular farming game

People play FarmVille because it was featured. They're brand whores, simple as that. No one actually enjoys that game.
