I own a unlimited licence of Fantomaster Shadowmaker bought on 2005, I stopped buying spiderSpy subscription after 2 years, last week I got back to my old version to scrape some content and urls around there but found some scripts are no longer working, I can get the latest version (bSeolized) only by subscribing to spyderSpy again (349 EUR/year)

these are the main functins of this script given me by Amin Gharechale of bSeolized AB (it seems Shadowmaker is no longer a Fantomaster product line):

Geo targeting, to be able to redirect based on country.
Cleaning traffic functions with different kind of keywords as positive and negative.
Redirect only valid search engine searches.
Full advanced template support with tokens.
RSS feed generation, limited only to the amount of keywords.
So basicly you could create a site with 1000 rss feeds to submit to rss agregators and get links.
Rotating random snippet. So that you can change a snippet in the content certain amount of hits. User changable hit value, content size value.
Secondary keyword targeting to higher up the relevancy of the pages in the eyes of the search engines.
keyword splitting function to split a large keyword list withing the domains in batch.
Keyword target the index pages of domains easily, use the benefit of exact match domains
    Paragraph support.
Keyword density support for secondary keywords as well as main.
Content links to other internal pages, also have a new function to use shadowMaker as your link building tool. Make sites, and add relevant content links to any site you like inside them.
Centralized X setup so no more adding of domains to your server, installing cloaking script or anything.
Have centralized X and shadowMaker running on the same server and you can generate 1000s of sites at once and have them all ready and working directly after the generation process is done.
Change redirect urls on all this domains in future if you would like.
Central X requeres a VPS or Dedicated Server with several IPs and root access. Dedicated IPs also.
    But highly recommended.
And we are commited to give out updates about each 1-3 month.
We requere a active spiderSpy account as without a valid ip list the tool does not work anyway and this way we can finance the constant Updates.

I have setup some domains and subdomains when I bought SM and got some money and traffic to my main sites without get caught by SE, bSeolized functions seem awesome but I need to understand if cloaking pages with IP based redirect still works or SEs have already build a filter for it and now it's a waste of time and money

pls share your opinion and experience with me

Short answer: yes, it still works unless....you don't have a strategy.

Successful cloaking requires keyword research, link building, common sense, investing in domains and patience. (maybe a couple things more but these are the important ones)

One of the things I didn't see in your list is the recently added feature to use templates and css.
Up till now the looks of your shadowdomain weren't important but with the arrival of Google's Quick View (the looking glass button) in the SERPS it has become vital.

When people mouse-over the SERPS and see a dull looking block of text they're not very likely going to click through.

Agree with Blackhit, about the strategy thing. But if you've got one (or can go out and get one), then, dude, you paid a lot for that fancy piece of software, might as well make use of it! Amin provides awesome support, and they are continually improving the s/w. There is a learning curve...but if you have figured out how to make money, and have the time and patience to use this, it can help you get highly optimized content essentially.

    Hi there

the price of the spiderSpy subscription is actually in Dollars and Not Euros, so it is cheaper than quoted.

"Perkiset" who is considered to be an expert over at the syndk8 board stated that he cancelled his subscription -
I dont know about the new version (didnt even know there was one) but the content generation of the old script was pretty much very basic (scraped and tumbled content without making any sense..

I never understood why they didnt upgrade the SM - maybe there wasnt not enough interest??

    just my 2 cent

The content is not made to be human-readable, as it is cloaked content. It's sole intended recipient is SE spiders, it is highly optimized for their viewing pleasure.

If you read what Perkiset at syndk8 writes you will see that he stopped using the tool because he had his own system developed that does On-site cloaking with other advanced stuff that he needed.

He still continued to use the spiderSpy if you read his messages.
Also what he wrote about any content engine is probably back from 2004 or so.

There has been major updates to the content Engine just this past year.

But still the content is for spiders and not humans.

    Best regards,
    Kandor
