I'm still a fan of godaddy hosting/domain registration

4.95/mo hosting including a 1.99 domain name with 100 subdomain emails with 250 relays each.

It's so unreliable. The reviews of the hosting service are terrible. I do however like them for domains, but thats it.

Yeah the domains are great and I actually like it. Easy to use. I have used the hosting before, but I quickly moved away from it. The offers are enticing, but there are better quality service for a bit more. Eg. Hostgator

I use to use godaddy a lot, still do sometimes to pick up some nice domains from their auctions. But otherwise I've switched to namecheap because I've found that its cheaper than godaddy with the private WHOIS privacy feature.

Godaddy is good for getting domains at auction. That's about it.

So you support a company in which the CEO shot an elephant and recorded it?

I love internet bs, they're a great service that give a lot of extra features for free. They're currently one of the fastest growing registrars in the world. They also offer a reliable, free privacy registration service, and you know that it's pretty reliable because they are incorporated in the Bahamas!! Good luck getting them to tell you anything about anyone!
But I generally don't use the privacy service as I don't have anything to hide. It is a nice extra feature to have though.

p.s. I also started off with godaddy, and I really hated them. The customer service is pretty amazing, but the system is just not standard. There's so much 'noise' everywhere that it's hard to find stuff. While every other website is focussing on streamlining and simplifying everything, godaddy seems intent on bucking the trend.... annoying!

Well, I'm definitely not a fan of theirs and I'm moving all my domains away slowly to internet.bs and namecheap. Try to be late a day on your domain renewal, the bastards will get you by the balls! No other registrar is so bloody greedy.
