Been getting alot of these messages lately. None of them are from Linkedin and they do contain a virus.

The ones iv been getting have a link in a zip file which leads to a website that will infect your PC as soon as you access it therefore be careful as your virus protection software may not catch it.

They don't even need zip file with link in it, its enough to click on their link in email and get redirected to website with some of java drive-by payloads or some of web exploit packs like black hole or Phoenix. You would be surprised how much javascript, , flash, pdf etc security holes is waiting to get patched. All you have to do is to visit the site, that is enough of interaction for them.
