This is inspired by a thread I saw earlier today and one that is posted every now and then in various forms.
Truth be told it is hard to fail in IM since we all continue to get back up after a setback... IM will always have setbacks for each and every one of us but if you follow that setback up by "getting back up" you can't hang the failure tag on yourself and neither can anyone else.
That is the same in life as well as we "fail" at times in life but those f us that choose to get back up and follow through are not failures.. we are folks that have learned instead so as not to go through the same process again.
Real life situation that has happened to me:
For close to 2 years I was banking 15K - 18K a month from a particular method... and one day I got this email "BTB, you are generating revenue against our TOS so you are banned and we are not paying you the (not exactly sure of the $ amount) 22K - 27K that you think you are owed."
That is a paraphrase as I am not sure the actual email nor the actual numbers but they are very close.
That email bothered me... for about 2 - 3 hours.
I told Mrs BTB that "We have a problem, Houston" and I figured I would work something out.
She promptly went to Macys and hit the credit card for about 400.00.
Not what I wanted but nice shoes so what the heck.
I spent a couple of hours looking at what all went on and picked another path to generate revenue... played with it... twisted it... branded it... tatooed it... forced it to say "Pay BTB" and thus came up with a way to replace that income.
Moral of the story?
None.
Joking... IM is a fluid business and you must remain fluid... what works today may not and will probably not work tomorrow... what works tomorrow may not and will probably not work next week... keep your options open and continue to test {new|various|different} methods to make money online.
There is no failing... there is only quitting and thus being labeled a failure for quitting.
