Hi guys, After adding a proxy to my Chrome browser and saving the settings, an error message appears when trying to browse: "This site can’t be reached, ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED."

Does anyone know what the problem might be and how to solve it? I use asocks proxy

Whichever price is cheaper for large numbers of residential IPs

Maybe it's a problem with your proxy, not with your settings?....

A tunneling error may be related to firewall or antivirus settings.

Bad proxy or you added it incorrectly. For chromium based browsers you can add a proxy with a command line parameter like the following:

chromium --proxy-server="http://proxy-server-address:port"

is all the information correct ip and user pass

Yeah it sounds like your formatting might be incorrect

This error can be the result of a variety of issues unfortunately. I would get in touch with your proxy provider and as long as you have the proxy IP / URL & Port correct they'll be able to determine from their end exactly the reason for your connection issue!

That being said, I also back the recommendations in this thread for FoxyProxy and launching Chrome with command line proxy parameters.

This means that the proxy is expired or invalid. Change to another proxy and try again.
