So as was mentioned in my last thread, FailBlog seems to make between 500-2000 dollars a day in youtube revenue. Moreover, FailBlog seems to merely find videos (of people falling) on the internet. And, posts the videos in their channel. It does not appear that FailBlog bothers to check on who actually owns the videos - e.g. who was the original artist/photographer/participants. And the powers that be don't seem to care much if the videos reflect "stolen"/"unclaimed" content. So the obvious question is, why can't we all just scrape the FailBlog channel, remove the FailBlog logo, and create our own FailBlog? Afterall, it's not like they own the videos anyway. Or do they? Anyone got any info?
