    SHIT.... my facking money site is taking 20-40 sec. to load (if it even loads);

    www.moneysitecontent.com

    These guy are really destroying a great brand and business by being so stingy with the server spaces. There must be like 100+ people sharing a server and since every person can host unlimited domains.... God knows how many websites I'm competing with as far as RAM/server space etc.

    I won't mention the company name because the MODs are tired of it.... but fack me!

    I'm done with these alligators!:rolleyes:

    I got hostwinds too but I just couldn't be bothered switching some of my sites over so I left them on the same hosting. But I do strongly recommend hostwinds to OP.

    This company/brand used to be known for providing high quality hosting and great customer support - now they are starting to be known for the exact opposite. Shame :<

    ^^ thanks

    Damn...1100 domains!!!

    ... I have WP installed and like 10 plugins... but still 25 sec.+ is TOO long and 1100 domains on 1 server is too many domains.

    Your site takes about 2-5 seconds to load for me. I clicked around a bit and all pages took between 2 - 5 seconds to fully load.

    You should install WP Super cache it will speed up your site. And also put this code into your .htaccess file...
    Code:
    ## EXPIRES CACHING ##
    <IfModule mod_expires.c>
    ExpiresActive On
    ExpiresByType image/jpg "access plus 1 year"
    ExpiresByType image/jpeg "access plus 1 year"
    ExpiresByType image/gif "access plus 1 year"
    ExpiresByType image/png "access plus 1 year"
    ExpiresByType text/css "access plus 1 month"
    ExpiresByType application/pdf "access plus 1 month"
    ExpiresByType text/x-javascript "access plus 1 month"
    ExpiresByType application/x-shockwave-flash "access plus 1 month"
    ExpiresByType image/x-icon "access plus 1 year"
    ExpiresDefault "access plus 2 days"
    </IfModule>
    ## EXPIRES CACHING ##

    # BEGIN Cache-Control Headers
    <IfModule mod_headers.c>
    <filesMatch "\.(ico|jpe?g|png|gif|swf)$">
    Header set Cache-Control "public"
    </filesMatch>
    <filesMatch "\.(css)$">

    </filesMatch>
    <filesMatch "\.(x?html?|php)$">
    Header set Cache-Control "private, must-revalidate"
    </filesMatch>
    </IfModule>
    # END Cache-Control Headers

    Generally that's a good advice but in my case it was the opposite. I had both wp super cache and w3 total cache plugins, one at a time, and my wp sites were loading like hell. Got back to normal after deactivating the plugin.

    Moving one of my client's site to HostWinds after repeated recommendations from fellow JR VIPs. If this goes well, my new clients will head up to the winds and not down with alligators ;p

    The same thing has happened to me. I'm waiting for one of mine to get switched over to Limenex. My sites were running really freaking slow over at the alligator farm. I checked and there were about 100 on the same server as well. The alligator switched me to a "bigger" server a few months ago and after that it all went to hell. If Limenex works then I'm switching them all over.
