Hey,

I just got a chargeback from a customer for selling him youtube views

The video got banned, and client asks for a refund. My site's T&C clearly states that in an event of video getting deleted, the risk is on the client. (Clients also have to check "I agree with the terms&conditions".

In the chargeback claim he said "i didn't received the product" which is a lie, I even have email correspondence with him.

Anyway, I will upload my proofs that views have been sent, however, does Paypal have any restrictions against youtube views sellers? If they do, I guess it's kinda pointless for me to upload any proof, and be better by just refunding him.

If the client paid through credit card you stand no chance.

If client paid from paypal balance you can tell paypal that it was a digital delivery.

I almost always refund a client in the event of a "misunderstanding" because it makes sense business wise as to your reputation and energy. Fighting this with PP will take energy and get you off your game usually and rather have to deal with that I pay up and move on to more positive things to generate more income.

Well, this wasn't a "misunderstanding". Actually it was a client who made around 12 orders, and now started a chargeback on all of them. And as a reseller I paid for these services.

It s almost NEVER a misunderstanding. I understand that.

I have won all my charge backs threw credit card.

If you took the funds via paypal then u can win if you say it was digital delivery ...however the customer can still file a charge back and u will lose 99.9% of the time because paypal will not fight for you, they will just remove the funds from your paypal account.

Now if you took the funds via merchant processor as long as u have this in your website TOS your fine, just fax your TOS over to the merchant processor
letting them know the customer agreed to your TOS and has made multiple purchases they will credit u the funds back.

This is also why i tell people "get a real merchant processor" stop dealing with paypal...i only use paypal to send money and i take money from people i know.
other then that i send people a invoice and process the cc threw my merchant processor with a tos on my site and refund policy you will always win because the bank
will tell there customer "you agreed to the tos" sorry!

Alright, just an update.

I have called PayPal and they were actually very helpful. Their assistants told me what to do in order to stand the best chances against the chargeback.

Let's wait now, and thanks for the support guys!

Sometimes it's better to let it go and keep your paypal account in good standing, it sucks, but when you are getting a higher volume of sales it's very important.
