Facebook Want To Take Me Court For typo-quatting

    I got a email today saying that they (Facebook) want to take me to
    court for Typo-squatting / using thier trademark name.. Damn it I
    forgot I still had that

    Typo-squatting URL - it never made me no cash..

    Not just me but also faceboook, facebooki and 20 others plus socialrewardsurvey.com
    will have come accross tem before:D

    Court is in california and I live in the UK :rolleyes: what the hell

    I think the Typo Bubble is about to burst

    Look at the email header details first. Seems like it's not FB at all. :)

    They probably hoped you settled for a fee ;)
    Let them know you can't afford to make it to california or you will be in hardship and you are giving reasonable notice ;)

    If it can't, just ignore it.

    Wait, they send you via email? Not to your physical address via letter?
    That's even better.
    That means they don't have your physical address.

    Even if it is from FB, you can simply ignore it if that's the case.

    It can, the US and UK are close friends. Being abroad doesn't make you untouchable. (well, maybe in some third world country)

    I wouldn't worry man. What are they claiming you are doing? I'm pretty sure you'd win man. I would just ignore it dude if it were me.

    I just deleted the site and now i am going to delete the domain because it never made
    any cash and I moved on from that method months ago

    Even if this were real, it wouldn't matter. You live in the UK. Unless you are actually hurting them they won't sue you.
