Then many group admins take ages to approve the post. So it's a test of patience too. I have had limited success with FB groups. I know there are people who are very much benefited from FB groups, but I am just sharing my experience here.

I agree; it's corresponding with my experience. And bigger isn't always better because your post gets buried very soon by newer posts in large and busy groups.

Having active targeted FB group is awesome and more effective than ever but building such group is not easy. Dead passive groups are waste of resources. If you send traffic to your blog make sure you have email optin to build your list and remarket, retarget.
