Hello, I'm pretty active over on the social media side of BHW, especially Instagram. Currently I have a couple accounts close to the point where I can monetize them and make some decent cash from them. That is my main focus right now, but I decided to make a journey to also maybe make a successful Facebook fanpage. For some reason, I never was good at FB. I had like 2 other pages which were okay, but in total they had 2,500 likes or so. I don't care about them anymore, and they've been inactive for 3 years. My main page has been mostly inactive for the past 2 years (I made about.. 10 posts in between the 2 years. Which shows how much I cared lol). It's a vine page that used to be connected to my vine YT accounts. It was a matter of wrong timing. I saw vines go insanely popular on FB during the months of April and May, where pages grew exponentially to 5M, 10M, 20M, and some even past that amount of followers. Here's my experience with social media so far: After I saw that, I made a few YT accounts in the vine niche since for THAT, it was the right timing. I created the channel Buzzvines (which still is around today with around half a million subs, but I sold it and then the guy I sold it to sold it again to some company later). You may say it was silly to sell, but I had another vine channel go crazy a month later and do even better. Unfortunately the network I was partnered with turned out to be a scam (I was testing out other networks than Machinima, hoping for better cpm but ehhh) and lost that channel. Sold some others. Anyways, all in all. From Youtube, when ALL the channels I've ever made (gaming, entertainment, and news) were under my control before bans or sales, I probably got anywhere from 125K to 150K subscribers and tens of millions of views. Away from YT, I made some time later a Twitter account (which if you are interested, I made a thread recently about it over in the Twitter section) where I made about $3K from 900 followers in a little over a month. Then I made some tumblr pages. I sold one with 7K followers to some lady for $75, which was cha-ching to me since I knew it wasn't worth that much. I made probably another $150 profit when I redirected traffic from about 70k-80k followers to my NSFW site. Quit tumblr shortly after some bans which resulted losing 60K followers over like 20 pages. Now I'm in IG with some pages approaching 20k+ followers each. Non-social media related experience: Resold probably $5k-10K worth of goods, mostly fashion stuff and laptops from Amazon over the past 2 years (but stopped that a few months back) So, with all of that experience, I'm either dumb or may turn out to have some smart areas still left in my brain depending on the results of this summer. I'm currently working a part-time job, working out to get in better shape, sleeping, and whenever I have free time focusing on my social media accounts. I only post to BHW when I'm done with everything for the day or am waiting to post something at a certain time on IG, and now on FB. (Posting times matter a bunch!) TL;DR I listed my XP in making $ over the internet ^ Here's where this journey starts. I'm reviving my 25,360 likes (I prefer to call them followers) page. The last 3 posts on it were 2 in April and 1 in February. Those 3 got an average of of 25 likes and one got 44 shares. The previous posts were last April, 2014. That one did much better with 158 shares and 131 likes. I used to have circa January 2015 the most amount of likes, which was about 25,800. No doubt, I expect to lose at least 10-15% of my current likes over the next 4-6 weeks when I post 6 vines daily. I will not post any spam, shoutouts, nothing. Just 6 vines daily. Not all at once. Spread out in the afternoon and probably a little in the evening. My goal is to see exponential growth within the last quarter of this journey. I think it's possible to revive this page from 25K and get 10x more likes. Call me crazy, but I've seen exponential growth many times before and I'm confident it can happen again. For the first 3 quarters, my guess is I might get it up to 50K-75K likes. After that, more and more people will share, comment, and like my posts and I feel it'll just explode at one moment and go on a crazy avalanche. Suddenly a giant landslide of followers and viewers comes pouring in. I will not monetize this page until I reach my goal. I may not even monetize it at that point. Most likely if I see progress with this page, I'll start a few other related (entertainment) fanpages this next year. Today is the first day. Updates will come soon.
