Hey everyone,

For weeks we have been posting attractive pictures to get likes and websites visits.
We spend like 50 dollars each day for one ad, and the stats where pretty solid. However on every 300 engagment(80% image clicks) we got 10/20 webiste visits/url clicks.

Today we did something else. Instead we placed the url of the page we want the fb user to visit.
Then we boosted it and now we got 135 website visits. But the engagment is pretty low, 8 likes 2/3 comments. But it was really dead simple and obvious when you promote posts users will click on your image and now when they click on image they visit the destination page.

you have 3 types of ads in facebook,: promote website, promote page and boost post. The name of the ads type says it all...

@OP, if you want website clicks then you can use "website clicks" when creating your ad.

You can do this on the ad manager.

The add is still running, but keep in mind these are expensive likes.
How do you call these are expensive likes? Any like is high valued like form those ADS?
I am sure to say the likes might be good but not targeted 100 percent.

Yeah we did see some decline in the amount of total fb page likes but this was due to the fact we stopped these type of ads because it was too expensive I am talking about 1/1,50 per like. And we also noticed that our organic reach has declined, we have no option but advertise.

If you pay 50$ for new Fans on your page then i suggest you , don't waste your money on Facebook to buy fans.As they remove organic likes to, even people who buy likes from facebook ads

$1-$1.50 per like ??? God damn, unless you're selling Ferrari or Rolex, I doubt you'll see your investment back.

it's not trick and op you spend too much for that amount of clicks and likes, no matter what you are selling.

I know it is too much that's why we have paused it. I have experienced way better results just by using scraped email ids.
I can get 5 cent or lower per click by just combining two targetgroups in one ad, for example miley cyrus with her huskey (fans of miley and husky lovers). But these were not tier 1 countries, mainly asia and india.... I could try it with custom audience maybe I will get better results but I do not want to risk the account, you never know with FB.
