Facebook streaming

from what i've seen, the live won't magically hit random newsfeeds just because the viewer counter says 20k. FB looks more at who stays, comments, shares, reacts, and whether those people have normal history with the page/content. Fake viewers with 0 interaction is basically a vanity number and sometimes makes the live look worse because retention/engagement ratio is dead. Better setup is schedule the live, warm the page few days before, get real people to share/comment in first 5-10 mins, then boost it with ads if the content is actually getting response. If no one interacts early, it usually just dies on the page.

Fb lives are usually shown to follower first, then may expand based on engagement

You're asking about facebook live display and boosting. lives usually pop up in the feed, stories, and sometimes groups if you're lucky. buying viewers that's a short-term trick, facebook's algorithm will flag it. it prioritizes engagement: watch time, comments, and shares over just viewer count. to actually attract real people, focus on content that's genuinely interesting or useful. the algorithm pushes streams that keep people watching and interacting naturally. don't expect magic from paid views; it's about organic reach and solid content

I think a live stream is one where there are many real people watching and interacting.
