    i dont see anything in that article? oldest fb.me articles dated back to 2009. i dont know why that article is dated so recently? i know that you can shorten your fb pages using the shortener. what i wondered is how to redirect like the link i showed above.

    it says "Facebook's link shortener is actually a CNAME to bit.ly", if it's (still) the case, i would assume you can use the bit.ly API to create fb.me urls

    sorry, i dont get it. bitly API is for "3rd party applications to create Bitlinks" in this case, the '3rd party' would be facebook? so that means the site has to be some kind of partner of fb to do that (redirecting to their site)?

    nobody? it looks like the fb shortener is a good backlink if a top site uses it and it shows up in the link profiles?
