Often I have looked at my facebook page--espcially since joining bhw--and realized there is a lot missing. When joining BHW I finally got a clear view of all the pieces of the im game. It is expanding, and to move all the parts into place is a lot to think about. I know I need a company facebook page which is simple enough with a good designer and an hour of copywriting time. The thing I am really confused about is a transition to a "using facebook as a business tool" mentality. How can I keep my facebook page personal, but at the same time advertise to my friends my business without it sounding too commercial. I only have about 400 personal friends on faceook. I know I could easily get 5,000 likes for a business page probably for about 20 bucks after what I have learned here on BHW. But my personal page is still personal to me. I stil share my personality on there and let me friends who are actually friends, know what I am up to and what I am doing. I want to start to build a brand for my business, and I feel facebook is a great way to do that both through my personal account and once I make a business fb page. GUess the ultimate question is: Should I keep my business and personal facebook completely seperate? If not how do I seemlessly integrate my personal page with my business page while maintaining a non-commercial image? Anyone who can help me get my mind wrapped around this--thanks in advance!!
